Please note that the farmers market detour for Route 2X is only in effect in the afternoon. The layover is open for the morning service, although parking is not permitted all day on Thursdays. Please make sure that the Thursday morning 2X operators remain on regular route.

Beginning with May 7th and continuing every Thursday through September 24th the City of Madeira will be closing the layover and park and ride on Dawson Road that is used by Route 2X. The road (Dawson Road) will not close until Thursday afternoon, but the layover and park & ride spaces will be blocked off all day every Thursday. Madeira will have a farmer's market on this segment of Dawson every Thursday afternoon 2pm - 8pm.
Route 2X will use the following detour routing and layover on Thursday's.

A Metro bus stop sign will be installed at this location.

Madeira will allow Metro customers to park in the Madeira Municipal Building parking lot on Thursdays.
The Madeira Municipal Building is located at the corner of Euclid and Miami.
Madeira will post signs at the layover on Thursday mornings (early) informing Metro customers to park at the Municipal Building.
