2X Detour Please Post.

This detour will only be in effect on Thursdays. Please post for the operators at Bond Hill.

 

Beginning with the first Thursday in June (June 3) and continuing every Thursday through October the City of Madeira will be closing the layover and park and ride on Dawson Road that is used by Route 2X. The road (Dawson Road) will not close until Thursday afternoon, but the layover and park & ride spaces will be blocked off all day every Thursday. Madeira will have a farmer's market on this segment of Dawson every Thursday afternoon.

Route 2X will use the following detour routing and layover on Thursdays beginning in June:

Outbound detour routing

via eastbound on Euclid, right on Miami to layover on Miami in front of U.S. Bank. A Metro bus stop sign will be installed at this location.

Inbound detour routing

via southbound on Miami (from the temporary U.S. Bank layover), left on Railroad Avenue, left on Center Street, left on Laurel, right on Miami, left on Euclid to regular route.


Madeira will allow Metro customers to park in the Madeira Municipal Building parking lot on Thursdays. The Madeira Municipal Building is located at the corner of Euclid and Miami.

Madeira will post signs at the layover on Thursday mornings (early) informing Metro customers to park at the Municipal Building.
